Jerusalem, the capital of Israel and its largest city in both population and area, is one of the most unique cities in the world. Jerusalem’s history can be dated all the way back to the 4th millennium making it one of the oldest cities in the world as well.
Jerusalem’s rich history and culture can be attributed to its status as a holy city in the eyes of all three major monotheistic religions.
The significance of the city is evident by the numerous holy sites visited by thousands of worshipers and tourists daily.

Jerusalem is full of museums, art galleries, botanical gardens, theaters, cinemas, outdoor shopping plazas, and marketplaces as well as dining options that include every type of cuisine (kosher and non-kosher). Throughout the year, Jerusalem is home to numerous acclaimed art, music, and cultural festivals.
